A. Account & Profile Information

  • Registration Data: When you sign up for the dashboard at app.bentostation.co, you provide your name, email address, and password (or Google OAuth token).
  • Driver App Data: During testing, we collect a dummy phone number for login.

B. User‑Generated Content

  • Content You Upload: Menus, images, product details, or other materials you submit to configure your restaurant’s menu and ordering process.

C. Usage & Analytics Data

  • Usage Metrics: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, error logs, and session duration.
  • Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type/version, operating system, device identifiers.
  • Cookies & Similar Technologies:
    • Essential cookies for session management and login.
    • Google Analytics cookies to understand usage patterns (you may opt out via your browser).

D. Third‑Party Service Data

  • Payment Processors: If you move to production, Stripe (or another gateway) will collect payment card details directly; we receive only transaction confirmations.
  • OAuth Providers: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture URL.

We use your information to:

  1. Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (authentication, dashboards, order management).
  2. Process transactions and send you service‑related notices (e.g., confirmations, support messages).

  • We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active, and for up to two (2) years thereafter, to facilitate potential reactivation requests and comply with legal obligations.
  • Usage logs and analytics data are aggregated and retained for up to one (1) year.


5. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access & Correction: You can view and update your account information in your dashboard settings. To remove content or delete your account, contact us at support@bentostation.co.
  • Cookie Preferences: You can manage or block cookies via your browser settings; however, disabling essential cookies may impair your ability to use the Service.
  • Opting Out of Analytics: To opt out of Google Analytics, install the Google Analytics Opt‑out Browser Add‑on.
  • Marketing Communications: We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. All transactional and support emails come from our official domains only.


6. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no system is 100% secure—please use strong, unique passwords and notify us immediately of any suspected breach.

  • We use Amazon Web Services in the U.S. East (us‑east‑1) region to store and process all personal data. Accordingly, your information is stored and processed solely in the United States.
  • If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you acknowledge and consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your data in the United States.
